What folk say – some testimonials
What folk say about Bryn Teg House Cottages: Over the years we have had some very happy guests. At first they stayed in Rose Cottage, then they came back in larger numbers and stayed in both Rose Cottage and Glyndwr Cottage, and now we have our third cottage, Pedaller’s Rest, I suspect they will tell their friends and book all three! Enough to say they were all very pleased with the standard and also the location with great access to the mountain bike trails and the pub/restaurant.

Will be back. It's too good not to come again.
The accommodation here is a real find. It’s so close to all the trails and not far to drive to either. The Afan Valley is just superb. What an amazing weekend and no injuries (!). I’ve been to the cottages twice now and can’t fault them. Great setup and great hosts. Will certainly be planning another trip asap.
I slept like a log despite all the snoring!
I’ve stayed at the Bryn Teg House cottages on three occasions now. Never get bored of the area as it’s stunning. The trails are awesome, the cottages are warm and well equipped for everything you need and the pub is only 5 minutes away! What more do you need. Thanks again Jennie and Gareth for an excellent weekend. PS: I was wearing ear plugs :)
Perfect spot for an Afan mtb weekend
Stayed for the second time in the self- catering cottage, Rose cottage, attached to the B&B. Nice and clean and well equipped; has everything needed for a group of up to 6 to bike on the great trails of Afan. Very friendly owners Jennie and Gareth are shortly opening a new property which will have space for 10+.
Great value and location for Afan Forest
Friendly hosts; Clean, comfortable room with shared bathroom; Great breakfast; Excellent value; Hose and secure lock-up for bikes; Easy 10 minute cycle to the start of the excellent Afan Forest mountain biking trails (Blade, White’s Level (W2), Skyline) and trail centre. My 2nd stay and will more than likely return again.
Brilliant place to stay
Set in the heart of the mountain bike trails this guest house offers you just what you need great beds hot showers with a fantastic kitchen if your cooking and a place to relax when you’ve had a hard day on the trail and a brilliant covered area with bike racks and hoses for the bikes.
The lady who runs it Jennie is an absolute gem of a lady and is always available for questions and answers third time here and it will not be the last.
Relaxing and friendly
Wonderful stay in a beautiful part of Wales. Gary and Jennie such wonderful hosts, relaxing and secure and close to some of the best mountain biking in the UK. Will certainly be returning again. Thanks again Gary and Jennie.
Perfect for Mountain Bike Breaks
3rd time we have used this accommodation. Clean, warm, and perfectly equipped for a weekend on the trails, which are only a short ride away, less than a mile to the nearest trail. If you cant be bothered to cook, we couldn’t, the local pub called The Refreshment rooms does really nice food. Its a five minute walk over the bridge. Thanks Jennie and Gareth for another great weekend.
