South Wales Mountain Bike Trails
We are conveniently situated in the Afan Valley for easy off-road access to our mountain bike trails but we are also in close proximity to the other
three Mountain Bike Centres in South Wales - BikePark Wales, Cwmcarn & Brechfa. They are approximately one hour away from the Afan Forest Park by car
so whilst you are staying with us you could easily experience the trails the other Centres have to offer too.
Brechfa mountain bike trail is located to the west of the Brecon Beacons and to the south of the Cambrian mountains in Carmarthenshire,
south west Wales.
Situated in Brechfa forest Brechfa has four trails - Gorlech, Derwen Green, Derwen Blue and Raven aimed at both novice
and the more experienced riders alike.
BikePark Wales is located in Merthyr Tydfil and is the UK’s first full scale mountain bike park in the heart of the South Wales valleys built
by riders for riders. BikePark Wales has eight trails ranging from beginner to expert and they believe in making mountain biking accessible to everyone.
You can book your BikePark Wales day ride pass online before your visit to speed up the entry process on the day and a vehicle uplift is available.
Cwmcarn mountain bike trail is located just 25 minutes from the Severn Bridge near Newport, South Wales. Cwmcarn has some of the best
downhill and cross country trails the UK has to offer. Situated in Cwmcarn forest there are five trails - Y Mynydd Red, Y Mynydd Black,
